The draw took place on Monday evening. The draws were also made for the County Senior Hurling Challenge Cup on Monday evening which will see the Blues take on Burgess in the opening round of the competition. It is understood that the opening round of the County Senior Hurling Challenge Cup will take place on the first weekend of March while the first round in the County Senior Hurling Championship will take place on the week-ending April 13th.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Medal Presentation:<\/strong> Our thanks go out to everyone who worked hard to ensure that Friday night&#8217;s medal presentation and dinner dance at the Abbey Court Hotel proved to be such a great success. Our thanks, especially, go out to the organising committee: Josephine Mackey, Valerie O\u2019Brien, Catherine Grey, Geraldine Quinn &#038; Paul Henry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>North Championship:<\/strong> The structures of the north championships have been finalised for the coming season. The senior championship, which features fourteen teams, will be run on a knock-out plus loser\u2019s group format. Seven games will be played in the first round with the winners of those games progressing into round two where they will face the losers of the opening round. If you win both games you progress to the quarter-finals while if you lose both games you will be eliminated from the competition. Teams with one win from the opening two rounds will play off for their chance to play in the last eight. Eleven teams will take part in the north Tipperary junior hurling championship &#8211; two groups of six, group winners into the semi-finals with the second and third-placed teams progressing to the quarter-finals. The north finalists will progress to the county quarter-finals. Ten teams will participate in the junior B hurling championship &#8211; two groups of five with the group winners progressing to the semi-finals and the second and third-placed teams progressing to the quarter-finals. Six teams will participate in the under-21A hurling championship which will be run on a knock-out and loser\u2019s group format. Seven teams will participate alongside \u00c9ire \u00d3g in the minor A hurling championship &#8211; one group with the top four progressing to the semi-finals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Membership: <\/strong>Membership for 2014 is now due and can be paid to any club officer or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myclubfinances.com\/memberships.asp?LL_ID=292&#038;CLb=1\" target=\"_blank\">online<\/a>. It was much appreciated.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Training:<\/strong> Under-6 and under-8 training has resumed indoors on Saturday mornings from 10-11am. New members born from 2009 onwards are welcome.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Juvenile Registration:<\/strong> Juvenile Registration will take place on Wednesday, February 19th (5.30-7pm) and Saturday, February 22nd (10am-12). The fees remain unchanged at \u20ac25 per player and \u20ac50 for two or more. There are also family membership deals available with more information on the club website.<\/p>\n<p><strong>National Club Draw:<\/strong> Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g are participating in the national club draw which features some sensational prizes like trips to Australia and the US &#8211; tickets are priced at \u20ac10 and parents are asked to support the club in this initiative. Katie Morris and partner Danielle Nealon will compete in the First Year Doubles competition. Eimear Meagher and S\u00edle Spain will contest the Junior Doubles while Sin\u00e9ad Meagher will compete in the Junior Singles. The girls are part of the convent team representing Tipperary. It was a hugely enjoyable night and our thanks goes to the staff of the Abbey Court Hotel and the organising committee who made sure it was an enjoyable night for all. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Registration:<\/strong> Our registration night was last Friday however if you missed it please contact Denise Morris or your team manager as soon as possible. No player will be allowed train or play with the club unless they are registered as they will not be covered by insurance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Training:<\/strong> All our teams will recommence training in the next two weeks. The various managers will be onto players soon confirming training times. Our under-8 and under-10 teams will not be back training until the end of the month.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tipperary:<\/strong> Well done to Alanna Morris and Rachel Maher who have made the Tipperary minor panel and they play Clare in their first match next weekend. Best of luck to our other players currently attending under-16 trials.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Volunteers: <\/strong>we are always looking for new people to get involved in the club and if you would like to contribute to the growth of Camogie in terms of administration, coaching, playing or in any other way please email eireognenagh@gmail.com<\/p>\n<p><strong>National Club Draw: <\/strong>The Camogie club is selling tickets for the National Club Draw. All money raised will go back into the club and will be used for up keep of the club grounds. We ask everyone involved in the Camogie section to please purchase a ticket.
