Senior <\/strong><\/p>\n

Our senior hurlers came away with a draw in the first round of the Co Championship last weekend against Clonoulty.<\/p>\n

The score was 3 – 10 to 19 points with the goals coming from Ben West, Jake Morris and Cian Crowley. They now play Moycarkey in Round Two on Fri 5th August at 7pm in the Ragg.<\/p>\n

Junior B<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our Junior Bs are due to play their final round game V Lorrha next weekend. This game is fixed for Fri evening at 7.30pm in Lorrha. <\/p>\n

Our u19s will play Silvermines in Round 2 of the championship on this Wed at 7.30pm in MacDonagh Park. <\/p>\n

    Our Community Friendly lotto was launched in June 2020 and since then we have donated \u20ac4,500 of our lotto funds to local charities so when you play our lotto you are also supporting local charities.<\/p>\n

    Phase Two Development & Funding<\/strong><\/p>\n

    With the contracts now signed for Phase two of the Development in MacDonagh Park and the preparation work starting this week, it is anticipated that the main works will commence next week. This phase of the development involves developing the new full sized pitch and the security fencing around this. <\/p>\n

     To fund this, the club is offering packages on club membership for individuals and families –  details of the different options available are outlined below. <\/p>\n

    Donations can either be made electronically or directly to any club officer or committee member.<\/p>\n

    Tipperary Draw. <\/strong><\/p>\n

    Congrats to our winners in last Friday’s Tipperary Draw. Philip Kennedy won \u20ac2,000, Angela Fogarty won \u20ac1,000 while John Kennedy won \u20ac200 promoters prize. This was the final draw in the 2021 \/ 2022 draw and we would like to thank all who supported the draw this year. The new draw will be launched in the coming weeks with the first draw due to take place in Sept. <\/p>\n

    Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g Gaelic Games Youth Academy<\/strong> <\/p>\n

    The Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g Gaelic Games Academy sponsored by Albany Home & Decor and A Sportsman’s Dream <\/em><\/strong>are delighted to announce that the club will be running a summer camp in August. The 3 Day Summer camp will run from the 10th to 12th of August. It will take place from 10 to 1 each day and is for children of primary school age. If you are interested in booking, secure your place soon by texting Niall on 087 408 6439. Coaches for the camp will include Sam O’Farrell, Grace O’Brien, Jake Morris and many more of the Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g senior players.<\/p>\n

    Club Development – Phase II Funding<\/strong><\/p>\n

    In order to achieve the next phase in our development goals for our club a number of fundraising options including bank account details have been circulated to the juvenile groups in the last few weeks. If any of these options suit you and you wish to participate please contact Anne Kennedy (087 1336024) or John Tooher (087 950 0912) with a WhatsApp message so that we can organise your receipt and Enda Long can then record your new membership details.<\/p>\n

    The Nenagh Eire Og Gaelic Games Youth Academy proudly sponsored by Albany Home Decor & A Sportsmans Dream welcomes new members to the club, training times for the various age groups as per below, contact the club social media sites with any questions.<\/p>\n

    Under 5<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Our little boys continue to train at 10am on Saturday mornings on the outside field – road end. The boys have great fun and we would love to welcome any new boys who would like to join in. Any boys born in 2017 are welcome to come along and try training out, any questions call John on 087 1365053.<\/p>\n

    Under 7<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Under 7 boys played a hurling blitz against Kilruane last Saturday morning in Nenagh. Both teams showed tremendous skill throughout and thanks to Kilruane for travelling. <\/p>\n

    Training continues Wednesday evening from 6-7pm and Saturday mornings from 10-11am on the outside field. <\/p>\n

    New players are always welcome to come along, so any boys born in the years 2015\/16 please come along. For further information please contact Alan on 087-7518789.<\/p>\n

    Under 9<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Under 9s travelled to Puckane to play Kiladangan in three well contested games. Great skills on show and a huge effort from all. Great improvement shown over the last few months. Thanks to Kiladangan for hosting. Training on Wednesday evenings for football and hurling and hurling on Saturday mornings. New boys born in 2013 and 2014 are always welcome to join.     Under 11<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The Under 11 boys played two games against Toomevara on Saturday in Toomevara. We had two great performances with the boys showing lots of skill and determination. <\/p>\n

    This week the boys travel to P\u00e1irc U\u00ed Chaoimh on Tuesday for the Munster Go Games football series where they play teams from all over Munster. On the way home they will also play hurling against Newtownshandrum. Thanks to all the parents for helping out on the day to ensure the boys have a day to remember. Training continues for hurling and football during the week. New players born in 2011 and 2012 are welcome to come along and give it a try. Contact 0874086439 for more details.<\/p>\n

    Under 13<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Under 13C panel won their mid week match against Shannon Rovers last week with a very strong second half performance. Training Wednesday and Friday at 6.30.<\/p>\n

     Under 15<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Training continues Tuesday and Thursday from 7-8 p.m. Championship begins in August.<\/p>\n

    Under 17<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Our under 17s had their second draw of the championship against Toomevara on Monday evening last- final score in the game was 2 – 18 each.<\/p>\n

    U17 training continues every Monday and Wednesday at 6.50 pm unless there is a match. <\/p>\n

    Training Monday and Thursday next week. Thanks to Shannon Rovers for the friendly match on Sunday. It was a very competitive game with some great camogie played by both teams.<\/p>\n

    Our u15 girls travelled to Ballinderry to play Shannon Rovers on Wednesday evening last. Despite a great first half performance by the Nenagh girls, Rovers took control in the second half and they won comfortably in the end.<\/div>\n
    This week we play away again, this time to Borris-Ileigh at 7pm on Thursday.<\/div>\n
