Junior Championships<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Junior A Championship starts next weekend – we play Kilruane MacDonaghs in Round One on Fri evening, 3rd<\/sup> June, at 7.45pm in Toomevara.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

The Junior B Championship starts on Saturday 18th<\/sup> June \u2013 we have been drawn in a group of 4 with Borrisokane, Lorrha and Knockshegowna. Our first game is due to be against Borrisokane in MacDonagh Park on Sat 18th<\/sup> June. The best of luck to both groups in the Championship.<\/p>\n

Lotto<\/strong><\/p>\n

There was no winner of tonight’s lotto jackpot . The numbers drawn were 11, 17, 20 & 28. This weeks 3 X \u20ac50 lucky dip winners are:<\/p>\n

    Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g Scrap Metal Collection Fundraiser.<\/strong> <\/p>\n

    Nenagh Eire Og are delighted to announce that we will be running a scrap metal collection on June 9th, 10th (7pm – 9pm) & June 11th (2pm – 4 pm). <\/p>\n

    Dispose of all your unwanted scrap metal for free while supporting your local G.A.A club. <\/p>\n

    What we will accept are old bicycles (no tyres), metal pipes, old farm machinery, old gates, scrap trailer parts, sheeting, old exercise equipment. What we CANNOT accept are washing machines, TV’s, computers, timber or toys. Any questions contact Shane on 087 637 3830. <\/p>\n

    The Nenagh Eire Og Gaelic Games Youth Academy proudly sponsored by Albany Home Decor & A Sportsmans Dream <\/em><\/strong>welcomes <\/em><\/strong>new members to the club. The next Academy event will be Player Pathway – from Teenage Player to Adult Player<\/em><\/strong>, keep an eye on this space for dates and times of this event which will be open to teenagers, parents and coaches within the club.<\/p>\n

    Our 2022 \u00d3gres camp continued last Saturday morning, the glorious sunshine was out at Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g making for a fabulous morning for all the new girls and boys to enjoy the camp where the children relished in loads of fun games and obstacle challenges.<\/p>\n

    The final morning of the camp is next Saturday morning @ 10 am on the new astro facility in McDonagh Park Nenagh. We are very excited about this final mornings fun and games as the children who participated will be presented with their free Ogres T-Shirt and goodies. New children can still join, camp details for anyone who would like to come along are on our social media sites.<\/p>\n

    Our fabulous little Under 7 boys travelled to Puckane on Saturday morning where they played Kiladangan in the glorious sunshine. The boys were magnificent and are progressing really well with every week. Thanks to Kiladangan for hosting. New players are always welcome, come and have a go. We always like to see new faces so any boys born in the years 2015\/16 please come along on Saturday mornings from 10-11am.  <\/p>\n

    Under 9<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Our Under 9 boys played Newport in McDonagh Park on Saturday in very warm and beautiful conditions. Well done to all the boys, you were all fantastic. Football training continues on Wednesday evenings from 5.45 to 7 pm on the outside field, football match next Saturday morning, details will circulate on the group this week. <\/p>\n

    New boys born in 2013 and 2014 are always welcome to join. <\/p>\n

    Under 11<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Our Under 11’s travelled to D\u00farlas \u00d3g and Cashel last weekend to take part in the Michael Hogan Festival Of Football. There was some great battling from all the boys against strong opposition. Well done to all involved.<\/p>\n

    This week training will be hurling on Tuesday evening followed by a break for the long weekend to give the boys a well deserved rest.<\/p>\n

    Upcoming challenge match v Doora Barefield next Saturday, details will circulate on the group. Training on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. <\/p>\n

    With attention now switching to hurling, training continues on Tuesdays from 7-8 pm, Thursday evenings at 6pm and Saturday 3 to 4 pm.<\/p>\n

    Under 17<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Congratulations to the team and management on their win over Roscrea on Monday 23rd<\/sup> May. The boys played JK Brackens on Monday 30th and in a good competitive game they lost out by 5 points – the score 3 – 13 to 1 – 14.<\/p>\n

    U17\/19 training continues every Monday and Wednesday at 6.50 pm. <\/p>\n

    Seniors<\/strong><\/div>\n
    Training  Monday and Thursday 8 to 9. We are hoping to have a few friendlies in the next fortnight.<\/div>\n
    Our County players were in action over the weekend in the All Ireland Championship.<\/div>\n
    Rachel Maher played for Tipperary against Mayo in Round 2 of the Junior Championship and came away with a win.<\/div>\n
    Grace O’Brien co-captained the Tipperary team who played Dublin in Parnell Park in Round 2 of the Senior Championship that ended in a 10 point draw. Grace started in midfield and scored a point from play. The next match is next Sunday in Semple Stadium against Waterford and will be the curtain raiser prior to the Munster Hurling Final.<\/div>\n

    We played our final group game in the B Championship against Roscrea on Thursday evening last. The girls had to work hard but put in a solid performance throughout to come away with a big win. Thanks to all the parents for the great support.<\/div>\n
    We now have a 2 week break before the semi-finals. Training continues Monday and Thursday 7pm.<\/div>\n

    Our Team 1 put in a super performance at home against a strong Newport side on Thurs evening last. Final score 5-2(11) to 2-0(6). Thanks to all who came to support the girls. Team 2 played Boherlahan away on Friday evening. They came away with 9 points which is a huge improvement on previous games but came up short against a very good home side. Training continues for all girls on Monday and Thursday at 6pm with no matches this week.<\/div>\n
