Senior<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our seniors finished off their league campaign with a good win over JK Brackens on Sunday last in MacDonagh Park. The final score was 1 – 28 to 1 – 22 with Killian Malone getting the first half goal. Attention now turns to the North Championship which is due to start at the end of June.<\/p>\n

Junior<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our Junior B group are due to play their final group game in the league next weekend – they play Portroe on Sat evening at 7pm in Nenagh.<\/p>\n

Tipperary<\/strong><\/p>\n

Congratulations to Sam O’Farrell and the Tipperary Minors on their great win in the Munster Minor Final last week. This was an enthralling game which was eventually decided in a penalty shoot out after the game had finished level at the end of extra time. Following a dramatic penalty shoot out, Tipperary came out on top and Sam went on to lift the cup – a great honour for Sam and his family and all in Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g. Well done to all!<\/p>\n

    Our Community Friendly lotto was launched in June 2020 and since then we have donated \u20ac4,500 of our lotto funds to local charities with the most recent donations presented to Carmh\u00e1 and Pieta as part of the Official opening on Bank Holiday Monday.<\/p>\n

    Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3gres<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Our 2022 \u00d3gres camp kicked off in style last Saturday morning, the glorious sunshine was out at Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g helping to welcome all of the new girls and boys to the camp where the children enjoyed loads of fun games and obstacle challenges.<\/p>\n

    The camp continues next Saturday morning on the new astro facility in McDonagh Park Nenagh, its not too late to join so we look forward to seeing you there. Camp details for anyone who would like to come along are below.<\/p>\n

    Calling all boys born in 2017 and girls born in 2016 or who have turned 5, we would be delighted to see you at our \u00c9ire \u00d3gres camp. \u00d3gres camp begins Saturday 14th of May at 10 am at the new Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g astro facility. The camp will run for four weeks. There will be lots of fun games and activities to start your little ones Saturday mornings off on a great note. Free t- shirt on the last day for all who participate. No hurls or helmets needed. \u20ac10 to register.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

    Our Under 7 boys continue to train every Saturday morning from 10-11am. It’s great to see such an improvement from all the boys in a short space of time! Training has moved to the outside field for the summer. We always like to see new faces so any boys born in the years 2015\/16 please come along on Saturday mornings from 10-11am.  <\/p>\n

    Under 9<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Hurling training continues on Saturday morning from 10 to 11 on the outside field. Football training continues on Wednesday evenings from 5.45 to 7 p.m on the outside field. New boys born in 2013 and 2014 are always welcome to join. <\/p>\n

    Under 11<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Our Under 11’s travelled to play Newmarket On Fergus last Sunday morning and had a great day out with the treat of ice creams compliments of Danny & the hardworking team at Jilly & Joes Bunratty Castle on the way home. Thanks to Danny Corbett and his team for looking after the boys.<\/p>\n

    We will play Silvermines on Thursday evening in Dolla and further details of a match for next Sunday morning will be circulated on the group text during the week.<\/p>\n

    This week training will be football on Tuesday evening. <\/p>\n

    New players born in 2011 and 2012 welcome to come along and give it a try. Contact 0874086439 for more details.<\/p>\n

    Under 15<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Unfortunately the boys lost out to Ballina in the North Football QF on Wednesday evening last. The boys battled hard but the result didn’t go our way, there was lots to be proud of out of the performance delivered by the boys. <\/p>\n

    With attention now switching to hurling, training continues on Tuesdays from 7-8 p.m, Thursday evenings at 6pm and Saturday 3 to 4 pm.<\/p>\n

    We played Moneygall in our U16 Shield quarter final last Monday evening. After a sluggish first half, the girls found their rhythm in the second to win comfortably. The girls continued their winning ways with a 2 – 04 to 0-06 win over Moyle Rovers in the semi final on Monday night and they now progress to the Co Shield Final.<\/div>\n

    Our U14D team played Ballinderry to play Shannon Rovers on Wednesday. This was our toughest outing yet against a physically big Rovers team. Our team of warriors got stuck in and although we failed to score, we left nothing on the field. The next game is this weekend at home to Silvermines. Details TBC.<\/div>\n
    Our first team played Ballina  on Thursday evening and played an intelligent game to come away with the victory. <\/div>\n

    Both U12 teams played their first games of the county league at home on Thursday evening last hosting two strong Kilruane teams. Both sides had to play to the new scoring rules which sees one point for a goal and three points for a point. Both teams won very tightly contested games which is a great start to their campaigns. Well done girls! Training for all U12 girls continues on Monday evening on the outside field at 6pm. Team 1 will play Templemore in Clonmore on Thursday while Team 2 will play Toomevara in Toomevara on a day and time to be confirmed.<\/div>\n

    The \u00c9ire \u00d3gres camp returned last Saturday with great numbers for the boys and girls taking part. Kindly sponsored by EBS Nenagh there are three more weeks to go in the fundamental movement skills camp. Its costs \u20ac10 and all children receive an \u00d3gres t-shirt on the final day.
