    Next week’s lotto Jackpot will be \u20ac9,700.  As our lotto continues weekly we thank everyone for your continued support of the lotto. If you have not yet joined our lotto or if your ticket has recently expired, please consider signing up again – it is our main fundraiser and contributes enormously to the day to day running of the club.<\/p>\n

    The lotto can either be played online using the link below or lotto tickets are available from any committee member – this includes the option to enter for multiple draws.<\/p>\n

    Our Community Friendly lotto was launched in June 2020 and since then we have donated \u20ac4,000 of our lotto funds to local charities. So when you play our lotto you are also supporting the charities in our community.<\/p>\n

    We will be making two further charity donations in the coming weeks to Carmh\u00e1 and Pieta House – these presentations will be made on 2nd May at the official opening of the new hurlng wall.<\/p>\n

    Junior Leagues<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Both our junior teams were in action over the weekend with both suffering defeats in the North Junior A & B Leagues. Our Junior As were defeated by 2 points on Friday evening by Kiladangan. The score in the game was 1\u201321 to 2\u201316 with Craig Hilmi and Ben West getting the Nenagh goals in the first half.<\/p>\n

    Our Junior B team were defeated by Silvermines on Sunday evening on a scoreline of 1-18 to 1-9, David Cleary getting our goal.<\/p>\n

    Both teams will be in action again in two weeks with the Junior As playing Toomevara on Fri 22nd<\/sup> April and the Junior Bs playing Templederry on Sat 23rd<\/sup> April \u2013 both games in MacDonagh Park.<\/p>\n

    Co Senior League<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Our seniors are in action in Round Three of the Co League next weekend. They play Clonoulty Rossmore on Saturday evening at 5.30 in MacDonagh Park.<\/p>\n

    Under 19 Football<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Following their fine win over Borrisokane in the U19B quarter final, our U19 footballers now face Moneygall Clonakenny in the North semi-final on Bank Holiday Monday, 18th April, at 6.30pm in Moneygall.<\/p>\n

    Official Opening<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Nenagh Eire \u00d3g will officially open the new Hurling Wall and all-weather pitch area on Bank Holiday Monday, 2nd May. It will be officially opened by the GAA President Larry McCarthy at 2pm. This promises to be an action-packed day, where everyone from U6 to senior and people in the wider community will have the opportunity to visit the club facilities and partake in the entertainment and festivities.  More details to follow, but make sure to keep the day free for what will be an historic event for our club.<\/p>\n

    Darkness Into Light<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Darkness into Light has asked Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g members\/supporters to volunteer as stewards for their annual walk. If you can help and be at the Scout’s Hall at 3.45am on May 7th, please text 086 0855165 and we will pass on your details.<\/p>\n

    Guess The Score Juvenile Club Fundraiser <\/strong><\/p>\n

    Thank you very much to all of the boys who have returned their Guess The Score Cards. Anyone who has yet to return their card please do so at the next training session, a juvenile committee member will be there to collect your card or you can give it to your lead coach. This is an important fundraiser for the Juvenile Club, your support is appreciated.<\/p>\n

    Easter C\u00fal Camps<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    There are still some places available to attend the Easter C\u00fal Camp. The camp takes place on Tuesday 12th, Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th of April. Camp will run from 10.00a.m until 1.00p.m. Booking can be made online through the Tipperary County Board link https:\/\/tipperary.gaa.ie\/tipperary-gaa-easter-camp\/<\/a> . The camp costs \u20ac35 for the three days with each child receiving a football and sliotar. The camp is for children ages 6-13.<\/p>\n

    The Under 7 boys are having fun practicing their hurling skills on Saturday mornings on the astroturf from 10-11am. As always we’d love to see new faces of boys born in the years 2015\/16. For further information please contact Alan on 087-7518789.<\/p>\n

    Under 9<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Under 11<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Our Under 11’s had their first hurling matches of the year, 28 boys took part against Durlas \u00d3g in MacDonagh Park last Saturday morning. Thanks to Durlas \u00d3g for travelling over to play us. The first of our football matches will take place next weekend. Training for hurling and football continue this week at the usual times <\/p>\n

    New players born in 2011 and 2012 are welcome to give it a try. Contact 0874086439 for more details. training takes place every Tuesday – hurling, 6 – 7pm & Friday – football, 6 to 7pm. <\/p>\n

    Please encourage any boys that would like to start football to come along Friday. <\/p>\n

    Two U11 Teams who played Durlas Og last weekend.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Our U13C panel will play Portroe in Nenagh on this Tuesday evening at 6 pm. The knockout round is next week where our A panel play Roscrea and our C panel play Ballina.<\/p>\n

    Training on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. <\/p>\n

    Under 15<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Our Under 15 boys won away against Newport last week. Training for this group continues on Tuesdays from 7-8 pm and on Thursday evenings at 6pm.<\/p>\n

    Under 17<\/strong><\/p>\n

    U17\/19 training continues every Monday and Wednesday at 6.50 pm. We are getting a great turnout and encourage anyone who was on either of these squads before to come back and join us again. <\/p>\n

    Our senior girls played their third round of the league against County champions Drom & Inch in McDonagh Park on Saturday morning. Drom took a strong lead in the first half, and while we performed much better in the 2nd half, we could not get the scores to close the gap. Next up is another home game against Knockavilla next Saturday morning.<\/div>\n

    We played Toomevara in our penultimate group game last Wednesday evening. The game was played in extremely windy conditions and Toomevara proved too strong for us on the night. <\/div>\n
    Our last group game takes place on Wednesday evening when we travel to Kilcommon to play Slieve Felim. <\/div>\n

    Our two u14 teams got their season underway this week with two home games. Our first team could not get their game going and came away with a loss against Burgess. Our second team played Rockwell Rovers on a very windy Sunday morning. Despite scoring 5 goals we still came away with a loss. <\/div>\n
    Both teams are away this week- Team 1 away to Drom on Thurs evening, Team 2 away to Shannon Rovers on Saturday.<\/div>\n
