    Next week’s lotto Jackpot will be \u20ac9,100.  As our lotto continues in 2022 we thank everyone for your continued support of the lotto. If you have not yet joined our lotto or if your ticket has recently expired, please consider signing up again – it is our main fundraiser and contributes enormously to the day to day running of the club.<\/p>\n

    The lotto can either be played online using the link below or lotto tickets are available from any committee member – this includes the option to enter for multiple draws.<\/p>\n

    Our Community Friendly lotto was launched in June 2020 and since then we have donated \u20ac4,000 of our lotto funds to local charities. So when you play our lotto you are also supporting the charities in our community.<\/p>\n

    Our next nominated charity is Carmh\u00e1 and a further \u20ac500 from our Lotto funds will be presented to them in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n

    Membership for 2022 is now due and can be paid through Foireann.ie.<\/p>\n

    If you are already set up on Foireann simply login and select and pay your membership type here. If you do not have an account, go to Foireann.ie and choose the New user – Register option – once you have set up an account your membership can then be paid here.<\/p>\n

    Membership rates remain the same as last year and are as follows: Full Membership – \u20ac50, Student\/OAP\/Unemployed\/Juvenile – \u20ac30. <\/p>\n

    Family options are also available as follows: Option 1 – One adult + multiple U18s – \u20ac80. Option 2 – Two adults + multiple U18s – \u20ac100.<\/p>\n

    Thanks to all who attended our Registration Days recently. We ask those who have not yet paid their membership to do so immediately.<\/p>\n

    Players in particular should remember that they cannot return to training unless they have paid their membership.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    North Board Presentation Night<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Well done to Se\u00e1nie Geaney who received the Junior Hurler of the Year award for 2021 at the North Board Presentation night last Friday night. The club was well represented on the night with medals for Junior C Hurling (2020), Junior A Hurling and Junior B Football presented to the winning captains Aodh\u00e1n Geaney, Mark O\u2019Farrell and James Mackey.<\/p>\n

    Hurling Leagues<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The draws for the Co Senior Leagues were made last week. We have been drawn in a group with Borrisileigh, Clonoulty Rossmore, JK Brackens, Kilruane MacDonaghs and Thurles Sarsfields. Our first game is against Thurles Sarsfields – this is due to take place over the weekend of 20th March.<\/p>\n

    The North Junior Leagues are due to start on the weekend of 27th March.<\/p>\n

    Mac Donagh Park Eircode Signs<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Signs with the eircode for MacDonagh Park have recently been installed in three different locations around MacDonagh Park  – at the entrance, above the Defibrillator and at the scoreboard. In the event that emergency services need to be called to MacDonagh Park, this is vital information to have so please take note of where these signs are located.<\/p>\n

    Juvenile Club Fundraiser<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Thank you to everyone who supported the Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g Juvenile club used clothes drive. The Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g clothes bank located in the complex car park continues to be available to receive clothes donations. <\/p>\n

    Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g Gaelic Games Youth Academy<\/strong> <\/p>\n

    We are very excited to announce that we will be launching in March ’22 the Nenagh Eire Og Gaelic Games Youth Academy. <\/strong><\/i>We are also very pleased to announce that local businesses Albany Home Decor Specialist & A Sportsman’s Dream will both be coming on board as proud sponsors of the new Academy. More details will be released this week. This is a hugely exciting project and we are thrilled for all of the children involved with Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g who will derive immense benefit from the Academy.     <\/p>\n

    Easter camps<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Plans are underway to run Easter Camps, we will be releasing details in the coming weeks on this so watch this space.<\/p>\n

    Under 7<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Our U7 boys continue their 8 week block of fundamental movement games on the new Astroturf pitch. We would love to see new faces, so any boys born in the years 2015\/2016 please come along Saturday mornings at 9am to the Nenagh Eire \u00d2g GAA Complex. No helmet or hurls are required and it’s a great way for the boys to burn off some of that Saturday morning energy! For further information please contact Alan on 087-7518789. Free tea, coffee for parents during the training session.<\/p>\n

    Under 9<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Training continues on Saturday mornings at 10am for any boys born in 2013 and 2014. New boys are always welcome to join. Contact Cathal on 086 080 6460 or the club social media sites with any queries. Free tea, coffee for parents during the training session.<\/p>\n

    Under 11 boys hurling training takes place every Friday at 6.00 on the Astroturf. New players born in 2011 and 2012 are welcome to give it a try. Contact 0874086439 for more details.<\/p>\n

    Training for this group continues Tuesday evenings at 5.30pm and Saturday afternoons at 3pm.<\/p>\n

    \u00c9ire \u00d3gs Caroline Browne and Rachel Maher lined out for Tipperary over the weekend. They played in Rathdowney against Westmeath and it was their second league match to date. Both Rachel and Caroline started on the team and played very well. Caroline scored a lovely point from play in the second half and Rachel was very dominant in her full back position. <\/div>\n
    The match finished in a draw 1-9 to 0-12 points.<\/div>\n
