    Next week’s lotto Jackpot will be \u20ac9,000.  As our lotto continues in 2022 we thank everyone for your continued support of the lotto. If you have not yet joined our lotto or if your ticket has recently expired, please consider signing up again – it is our main fundraiser and contributes enormously to the day to day running of the club.<\/p>\n

    The lotto can either be played online using the link below or lotto tickets are available from any committee member – this includes the option to enter for multiple draws.<\/p>\n

    Our Community Friendly lotto was launched in June 2020 and since then we have donated \u20ac4,000 of our lotto funds to local charities. So when you play our lotto you are also supporting the charities in our community. Our next nominated charity is Carmh\u00e1 and a further \u20ac500 from our Lotto funds will be donated to them at the end of the current ten week cycle.<\/p>\n

    Membership rates remain the same as last year and are as follows: Full Membership – \u20ac50, Student\/OAP\/Unemployed\/Juvenile – \u20ac30. <\/p>\n

    Family options are also available as follows: Option 1 – One adult + multiple U18s – \u20ac80. Option 2 – Two adults + multiple U18s – \u20ac100.<\/p>\n

    North Tipp Junior Hurler of the Year<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Congratulations to Seanie Geaney on his selection as North Tipp Junior Hurler of the Year for 2021. Seanie had a great year in 2021 and played a major role in the club winning the North Junior A Championship. This is Seanie\u2019s second North Tipp player of the year award having won the Minor award in 2011. He will receive his award at the North Tipperary Presentation Night on Friday next in the Thatched Cottage. <\/p>\n

    Colleges Hurling<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Well done to Stevie Hallinan and Peter Folan who were part of the MTU Kerry side who won the Higher Education Ryan Cup at the weekend. Well done also to Se\u00e1n Phelan who was on the UL team who won the Higher Education Intermediate Final on Sunday last.<\/p>\n

    Commiserations to Philip Hickey who was on the NUIG team who lost out narrowly to UL in the Fitzgibbon Cup final last Saturday.<\/p>\n

    Juvenile Club Fundraiser<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g Juvenile club are running a used clothes drive to raise funds for the upcoming 2022 season. If you are doing a spring clean over the mid-term or have previously loved clothes, curtains, towels, sheets or blankets please bring them to the Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g complex next Friday evening Feb 25th from 6-7 p.m or next Saturday morning Feb 26th between 9-11 a.m. Your support would be greatly appreciated. <\/p>\n

    Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g Gaelic Games Youth Academy<\/strong> <\/p>\n

    We are very excited to announce that we will be launching in March ’22 the Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g Gaelic Games Youth Academy. <\/strong><\/i>We are also very pleased to announce that local businesses Albany Home D\u00e9cor Specialist & A Sportsman’s Dream will both be coming on board as proud sponsors of the new Academy. More details will be released over the coming days. This is a hugely exciting project and we are thrilled for all of the children involved with Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g Juvenile Club who will derive immense benefit from the Academy.     <\/p>\n

    Under 7<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Our U7 boys continue their 8 week block of fundamental movement games on the new Astroturf pitch. We would love to see new faces, so any boys born in the years 2015\/2016 please come along Saturday mornings at 9am to the Nenagh Eire \u00d2g GAA Complex. No helmet or hurls are required and it’s a great way for the boys to burn off some of that Saturday morning energy! For further information please contact Alan on 087-7518789.<\/p>\n

    Training continues on Saturday mornings at 10am for any boys born in 2013 and 2014. New boys are always welcome to join. Contact the club social media sites with any queries. <\/p>\n

    Under 11 boys hurling training takes place every Friday at 6.00 on the Astroturf. <\/p>\n

    Congratulations to the Tipperary Senior team who overcame Offaly in the league at Bansha at the weekend. Final score Tipperary 4-21 Offaly 1-5. Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g’s Grace O’Brien scored two points from play. Their next game is against Dublin on March 12th.  <\/div>\n
    The intermediate team with \u00c9ire \u00d3g’s Rachel Maher and Caroline Browne play Westmeath in The Ragg next Saturday the 26th of February.<\/div>\n

    The Under 14s played their first game of the new season, a challenge match against Newmarket-on-Fergus, under lights on the UL all-weather pitches last Sunday evening. We were missing a few girls but still put up a good display against a strong Newmarket team. Thanks to all the parents for travelling.<\/div>\n
    Training continues Monday 6-7pm on the AstroTurf. Please bring runners also so we can change to indoors if the weather is bad.<\/div>\n
