Senior<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our seniors defeated Newport in the first round of the North Championship last Thursday evening. The score in the game was 1-21 to 2-9, James Mackey getting the Nenagh goal.<\/p>\n

We are due to play Kiladangan B in the North quarter final tomorrow evening (Tuesday) in Borrrisokane.<\/p>\n

Junior<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Junior As play their first game of the Championship on Fri evening next, 13th<\/sup> Aug. This game is against Toomevara and will take place in Borrisoleigh at 7pm.<\/p>\n

Our Junior Bs are also in action this weekend in the first round of the Championship \u2013 they play Kiladangan in Puckane on Saturday evening at 7pm. <\/p>\n

Please keep an eye on the club website and social media for all fixtures. <\/p>\n

Please note all games are ticket only and must be purchased and collected before each game as per instructions on Whatsapp groups.<\/p>\n

Lotto<\/strong><\/p>\n

There was no winner of tonight’s lotto jackpot. The numbers drawn were 1, 7, 16 & 24.<\/p>\n

    <\/u>N\u00c9\u00d3 Under 7’s welcomed Kilruane to MacDonagh Park on Saturday morning. A fabulous morning’s hurling was had by all. Both sides played fantastic!<\/p>\n

    Thanks to Kilruane for making the trip and for some very exciting games.<\/p>\n

    Training continues Tuesday evenings 6-7pm and Saturday mornings 10-11am. We’d love to see some new faces also!<\/p>\n

    Our Under 9 boys had a great morning in MacDonagh park on Saturday where they took on JK Brackens in three very entertaining football games.<\/p>\n

    Congratulations to Barry Grace who stepped into the breach to make his Under 9 debut for the blitz. Barry was on fire in the goal despite some very dodgy kick-outs and almost saved a number of goals, well done Barry, you were awesome.<\/p>\n

    Thanks to JK Brackens for making the journey to Nenagh and for providing very good opposition.<\/p>\n

    Hurling training continues Tuesday 6-7pm and Saturday 10-11am with football training on Wednesday 5.30-6.30pm. <\/p>\n

    Under 11<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Two of the Under 11 teams, Navy team & Blue team, were out on Sunday morning against Silvermines in Dolla. Thanks to Silvermines for two good competitive games. Well done to all the boys. Training continues Tuesday for hurling at 6 and Wednesday for football at 5.30. New players are always welcome for either code. Great to see new faces joining over the last few weeks and we look forward to seeing more new boys.<\/p>\n

    Under 13<\/strong>  <\/p>\n

    The Under 13A team defeated Silvermines on Tuesday evening last in Nenagh. The D Team had a week off last week and were due to play Templederry on Monday (9th Aug) in Templederry – this game was called off late Mon evening.<\/p>\n

    Training continues for both groups on Wednesday and Friday evenings.<\/p>\n

    Under 15<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The Under 15s are due to play Kilruane on Thursday of this week in Nenagh at 7pm. Training continues on Tuesday and Saturday.<\/p>\n

    Under 17<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The Under 17s defeated Silvermines on Monday evening in Dolla on a scoreline 1-11 to 12 points. Training continues on Wed, Fri and Sat mornings for this group. <\/p>\n

    <\/div>\n

    Specsavers virtual kick about<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Specsavers are running a national media campaign as part of their sponsorship of the GAA nationally and have asked for our support. They are looking for children to virtually pass a gaelic football from Killarney to Croke Park for the All-Ireland football final. <\/p>\n

    To take part a child receives a football from the left hand side of the camera shot, caught and is kicked out the right. <\/p>\n

    Any child from Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g who wishes to be put forward for it can do so by wearing their club gear and completing a video. The video can be posted on the WhatsApp groups or directly to the coaches of their group. If there is more than one video per group the coaches can decide on the best one. <\/p>\n

    We will send a few of our best videos to Specsavers. Creativity in the videos will help. Anyone interested please complete the video before Friday 13th August.<\/p>\n

    Club Development<\/strong>
    \nWork on the new hurling wall is well underway. These are very exciting times for the entire club.
    \nAny remaining donations can be paid over to your fundraising representative, any amount is welcome and appreciated, your fundraising representative will have any details you may require in supporting the development. Any remaining tax forms associated with your donation should be given to your fundraising representative along with detail of the names you wish to have included on the club development jigsaw wall.<\/div>\n

    \nThe lotto has always been one of our main fundraisers and with our current club developments it is of great importance to us now that everyone continues to row in behind our lotto and we continue to increase the Nenagh Eire Og online club lotto subscriptions. We are asking our juvenile families and supporters to play our club lotto online. It costs just \u20ac2 per week to play safely online and there are different payment plans available. If your not in, you cant win! <\/p>\n

    Our U16s had a great win against Portroe last Wednesday evening in Portroe – the score in the game was 6 – 7 to 1 – 4. The girls now play away to Cahir this Wednesday evening.<\/div>\n

    Nenagh 1 played a tough Templemore side on Thursday evening. This was a very tight game, but the Nenagh girls scraped through to get a 2 point win. Next up is an way trip to Shannon Rovers on Friday evening at 7.15pm.<\/div>\n
    Training for u12s at 6.30pm on Monday evening and 6pm Thursday evening on the front field.<\/div>\n

    Under 10s training continues on Monday and Thursday nights. Any new girls that would like to give Camogie a go are always welcome.<\/div>\n

    The Under 8s had a great blitz in Drom on Saturday. Two teams were fielded and showed off all the skills they have learned to date.<\/div>\n
