Our U19s lost out to Roscrea in their second round game last week – the score in the game was 1-22 to 2-16 with Jamie Cottrell and Ben West getting the goals. They now play Silvermines in the final group game on Wed 14th at 7.30 in Nenagh<\/div>\n

Well done to Callan Scully who played in goals for the Tipperary U20 footballers in their Munster Championship win over Limerick last week. We wish Callan and the Tipperary team the best of luck as they take on Waterford on Thursday of this week in the Munster semi final.<\/div>\n

Well done to Conor Hennessy and Sean Phelan who were both part of the Tipperary U20 hurling panel that defeated  Waterford after extra time in the U20 Munster quarter final on Monday evening. Conor came on as a second half substitute in the win. Tipp now play Cork in the Munster semi-final next Tuesday in Semple Stadium.<\/div>\n

The C\u00fal camp began this morning in Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g. The sounds of fun, laughter and cheering rang around the club grounds as the children had a hugely enjoyable day 1 of camp.<\/div>\n

A reminder to please complete the health questionnaire each morning of the camp. A number of people still haven’t added “C\u00fal Camp” to their Foireann profile and will not be allowed to enter if they don’t. It will speed up admission hugely if people can complete it before 9.00 each morning as completed names are recorded on the roll rather than delaying checking the phone.
\nEach day the roll call will be taken at the entry to the inside field. There is a fence set up for people to queue in an orderly and socially distant fashion. Any adults, please wear a face covering at drop off and collection times. Collections will take place at the same place. We will ask older siblings to bring younger ones out with them. The youngest groups will be last out and handed over to parents. Please be extremely vigilant in the car park. Parking on the road may be necessary also due to the large numbers.
\nThe camp starts at 10.00 each day and finishes at 14.00. There are two short breaks for the children to have a healthy pack lunch and plenty of water. Please encourage the children to use the bins provided.
\nPlease ensure the children have raincoats or change of top. Usual equipment for hurling, football – helmet, hurl, shin guards, gumshield, etc.
\nAny parent that can volunteer to help out please text Niall, anyone with availability for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday would be very welcome.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Swap Shop for N\u00c9\u00d3 Club gear<\/strong>
\n\u00c9ire \u00d3g Juvenile Club will be running a Swap Shop for \u00c9ire \u00d3g gear in July. All funds raised will go to The Children’s Ark Paediatric Unit at University Hospital, Limerick. Families and players are asked to pull out & wash any club gear that is no longer being used but still in good condition.
\nPlease contact Sinead with any gear you may have for the Swap Shop on 087 636 0532. Please attach a label stating the age group\/size on each item. No boots or socks please. Alternatively, gear can be left in the designated tub at the \u00c9ire \u00d3g C\u00fal Camp by Thursday morning. Gear should be in good condition & washed!

\nWe continue to have over 30 at each training. Please keep up the good attendance, matches are now underway and bring a great dynamic to
\ndeveloping these great youngsters. Great to see new boys joining who are always more than welcome.<\/div>\n

\nUnder 11<\/strong>
\nThe Under 11 hurling Championship commenced with gusto as our three Under 11 teams went into action at the weekend with their first round
\ngames. Our Nenagh Blues team played and defeated Roscrea in Roscrea in what was a very exciting and skillful match. The \u00c9ire \u00d3g team
\nfollowed directly afterwards also against Roscrea in Roscrea however, the result didn’t go Nenagh’s way on this occasion despite it being a
\nhugely competitive game. The third team – Nenagh Navy played Kilruane in Cloughjordan on Sunday evening where Kilruane came out on top in a tight game.
\nNo Under 11 mid week training this week due to the majority of children already attending C\u00fal camp for the week.
\nNext weekend all three teams will be out in round two matches against Kilruane and Portroe. Keep an eye on the WhatsApp group for further
\ndetails. New players are always welcome for either code. Great to see new faces joining over the last few weeks and we look forward to seeing
\nmore new boys.<\/div>\n

\nUnder 13<\/strong>
\nUnder 13D footballers were defeated by Toomevara in the North final last Tuesday evening in a very competitive game, well done to the boys on a great run and great performances throughout the championship.
\nThe Under 13 hurling championship commenced last week where we played Kilruane in both A and D recording a win and a draw.
\nThe U13D group were due to play Portroe in Portroe on Mon evening while both groups were due to play Newport on Tuesday evening in Nenagh.
\nTraining continues as normal this week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings.<\/div>\n

\nUnder 15<\/strong>
\nThe Under 15s will play Silvermines on Thursday evening at 7.30 in Dolla while training continues for hurling and football on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.<\/div>\n

\nUnder 17<\/strong>
\nThe Under 17s played their first hurling championship game of the year against Roscrea Monday evening in Nenagh where they lost out on a scoreline of 2-16 to 1-12.  Training continues for this group every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.<\/div>\n

Our under 14 side travelled to Ballina last Wednesday evening to play a very strong Ballina side. Although we fell behind in the first quarter, the girls pulled themselves together and gave a huge effort for the rest of the game, making Ballina work hard for their victory. Well done to Ballina.<\/div>\n
Next up is a home game v Boherlahan on Saturday morning at 11.45am in McDonagh Park.<\/div>\n
Well done to Niamh Boland and Clodagh Spain who played respectively for the Tipp A and Tipp B Co Development teams, both teams winning against their Galway counterparts.<\/div>\n

Nenagh 2 made the short trip to Ardcroney to play Kilruane 2 in a very entertaining game on Wednesday evening last. Despite a some great performances throughout, both defences held firm and the match ended in a draw. The win is coming! Thanks to Kilruane for a great game.<\/div>\n
Nenagh 1 played a young Portroe side in McDonagh Park on Saturday morning. Nenagh were the stronger side and emerged with the victory in the end. Hard luck to Portroe.<\/div>\n
