The other charities to benefit from these donations were Friends of Nenagh Hospital, Tipperary Search and Rescue Unit, Ormond Special Olympics and Nenagh Lions Club. We will continue to donate \u20ac500 to a local charity every 10 weeks, however at the end of the current 10 week cycle (which is at the end of July) we will once again introduce weekly lucky dip prizes &#8211; this will replace the current Supplementary draw that we currently hold every 10 weeks. Once membership is paid members must set up their own registration on Foireann.ie.<br \/>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"height:40px;\"><\/div><br \/>\n<strong>Co. Senior League<\/strong><br \/>\nWith all groups back training for the past few weeks, we are now looking forward to matches beginning in the next few weeks. First up will be the Co. Senior League where we have been drawn in a group with Roscrea, JK Brackens and Thurles Sarsfields. Our first game is due to take place against Roscrea on Sunday 13th June. Keep a check on the website and social media for fixtures.<br \/>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"height:40px;\"><\/div><br \/>\n<strong>Community Response<\/strong><br \/>\nAs restrictions are gradually being eased it is time once again to stand down our Community response group. We wish to thank all those who have volunteered their time over the past 15 months to help out those that needed it during Covid restrictions and we especially thank Bartley Ryan for his time in co-ordinating this.<br \/>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"height:40px;\"><\/div><br \/>\n<strong>Scott O\u2019Brien<\/strong><br \/>\nFormer Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g player Scott O&#8217;Brien continues to maintain his and Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g&#8217;s international sporting reputation. Scott, who is currently on a golfing scholarship in the US, was a primary player in his colleges golf team that brought home first prize in a USA national competition last month. Paying membership at training is the preferred option for the juvenile club as the money goes directly into the juvenile arm of the club to pay the costs of running the juvenile club. For Covid reasons we ask that membership money be put into an envelope, family details written thereon and handed to the lead coach at the training session.<br \/>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"height:40px;\"><\/div><br \/>\n<strong>Return To Play<\/strong><br \/>\nWe would ask all parents\/guardians to observe and co-operate with all the Covid protocols that will be in place in order to ensure a safe training environment for your children and family. Training slots &#8211; days and times have been issued on the various WhatsApp groups, welcome back and enjoy!<br \/>\nPlease encourage the boys to practice when they can over the next few weeks. There are a huge number of boys nationally that struggled for motivation in all sports over the past few months and we are very conscious of this and will be very mindful of the boys. We hope every available boy will return and hope to gain extra boys as well.<br \/>\nWe hope to link in with some of the NEO senior hurling team in the coming weeks and leverage their experience from when they were juvenile hurlers and how they developed their skills and passion for our games.<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s a very exciting time for the club with huge developments taking place in the field at present. The physical changes around the club grounds were visible to all who returned to play last week. These changes are the initial stages of the development work and indeed the footprint of the new hurling wall and astro pitch are clear to be seen. We will all be looking on in eager anticipation of the progress that will be made over the coming weeks. The children enjoyed lots of games and skill challenges at the many fun \u00d3gres challenge stations.<br \/>\nThanks to Niall for organising this years  camp and also to everyone who assisted in ensuring a safe and fun environment for the children to enjoy themselves. Thanks to EBS Nenagh, New Mortgages for their kind sponsorship.<br \/>\nWe can&#8217;t wait to have all the children back next week for more fun and games. There are over 30 boys training which is great to see.  We are seeing lots of new faces and new boys are always welcome.<br \/>\n<strong>Under 9<\/strong><br \/>\nUnder 9 hurling training continues Tuesday 6-7pm and Saturday 10-11am with football training also now started on Wednesday 5.30-6.30pm. We continue to have over 30 at each training. Please keep up the good attendance as matches will start in a few weeks time. Great to also see new boys joining who are more than welcome.<br \/>\n<strong>Under 11<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Under 11 boys hurling training each Tuesday and Friday at 6.00pm. Gaelic Football training is at 5.30pm on Wednesdays. New players always welcome for either code.<br \/>\n<strong>Under 13  <\/strong><br \/>\nUnder 13 training continues Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings.<br \/>\n<strong>Under 15<\/strong><br \/>\nTraining continues for the Under 15 boys. Hurling on Tuesday and Thursday while football has started on Saturdays with first football game of the year in a couple of weeks. Great to have some of our senior hurlers helping out with training on Tuesdays.<br \/>\n<strong>Under 17<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Under 17 boys training continues each Monday Wednesday Friday and Saturday morning. We would also be delighted to welcome back any former of this squad who would like to hurl or play football. There has been a very good response from our squad. Already this group had shown the determination and commitment of last year with four high tempo sessions.<br \/>\nCongrats to Taurai, Sam and Mason on making the Tipperary Under 17 panel. Hard luck to the others , it was a great achievement to represent Nenagh at that stage.<br \/>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"height:40px;\"><\/div><br \/>\n<strong>Garda Vetting<\/strong><br \/>\nReminder to get your Garda vetting up to date please. Taking place in the main field under glorious sunshine, over 30 girls came along to the first Saturday of four planned from 10.00 till 11.00. Thanks to all the parents and u14 girls for helping with the session at the weekend. Both boys and girls are welcome. Parents must remain for the hour. Our squad are working very well and training is going very well. The improvement in our squad over two years had been excellent. Any former player looking to come back and train are most welcome.<br \/>\nCaroline Browne and Sarah Quigley represented Tipperary at the weekend in the Division 2 league.
