The lads will be hoping to reach their first senior final since 1920, played in 1922 due to the War of Independence, where they defeated Dublin 1-6 to 1-2 with Tommy Powell getting the all-important goal. Management teams will be working over the next few weeks on the implementation of this change within the various age groups. Communications in this regard will be issued in due course.<\/p>\n<h2><div class=\"clear\" style=\"height:40px;\"><\/div><br \/>\nUnder-10<\/h2>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"height:40px;\"><\/div>\n<p>In anticipation of this year&#8217;s eagerly awaited Late Late Toy Show all the Under 10 boys who were at training last Friday evening received a mouth-watering Selection Box to enjoy while watching the Toy Show. We hope the boys enjoyed the Toy Show as much as their selection boxes :-).<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"height:40px;\"><\/div>\n<p>Training for this group will continue every Friday evening under the new guidelines of non-contact and in groups of fifteen. Anyone who wishes to train is more than welcome, it is completely optional for the boys. Training will consist of skills work and fun activities. training has moved to Nenagh College on Friday nights from 7pm to 8pm.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"height:40px;\"><\/div>\n<p>Please keep encouraging the boys to pick up the hurley at home and practice daily.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"height:40px;\"><\/div>\n<h2>Under-14<\/h2>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"height:40px;\"><\/div>\n<p>Our brilliant Under 14 boys took part in the local F\u00e9ile skills challenge in both hurling and football today. Not at all deterred by the heavy fog, the boys battled it out to progress to a place in the next round at North Tipp level and of course to win a fabulous trophy.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"height:40px;\"><\/div>\n<p>Well done to all the boys who participated today. Best wishes to the boys progressing to the next round. Sincere thank you to the dedicated coaches who coordinated and ran today&#8217;s competition.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"height:40px;\"><\/div>\n<p>Training will continue for the next few weeks in Nenagh College. Hurling on Tuesdays and football on Thursdays.<\/p>\n<h2><div class=\"clear\" style=\"height:40px;\"><\/div><br \/>\nUnder-16<\/h2>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"height:40px;\"><\/div>\n<p>U16\/17 hurling training continues on Friday night at 8 pm in Nenagh College. Turnout has been good and we are hoping for all our squad to be back for our last few sessions before the Christmas break.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"height:40px;\"><\/div>\n<h2>Fixtures<\/h2>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"height:40px;\"><\/div>\n<p>All competitive games are suspended currently in light of the recent guidelines.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"height:40px;\"><\/div>\n<h2>Other Business<\/h2>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"height:40px;\"><\/div>\n<p>Thank you to all the parents who encourage practicing of both codes at home, please continue to encourage the children to pick up the hurley or football and get a few minutes of practice in each day.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"height:40px;\"><\/div>\n<p>Please continue to follow the GAA and HSE Covid safety guidelines.
