{"id":15701,"date":"2020-10-05T21:25:46","date_gmt":"2020-10-05T20:25:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nenagheireog.com\/?p=15701"},"modified":"2020-10-05T21:25:46","modified_gmt":"2020-10-05T20:25:46","slug":"covid-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nenagheireog.com\/index.php\/covid-19\/","title":{"rendered":"Covid-19"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"height:40px;\"><\/div>\n<p>In light of the latest government announcement regarding moving the country to Level 3, we wish to advise all of our members, mentors and players that our clubhouse, including the gym, dressing rooms and meeting rooms are shut for the next three weeks, as per present government guidelines.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"height:40px;\"><\/div>\n<p>We, as a club, are asking everyone to please adhere to the latest government and GAA guidelines so that we can help suppress the virus and return to the playing fields in the near future.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"height:40px;\"><\/div>\n<p>John Tooher,<\/p>\n<p>Chairperson, Nenagh \u00c9ire \u00d3g<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"height:40px;\"><\/div>\n<h2>Please see below a statement from the GAA<\/h2>\n<div class=\"clear\" style=\"height:40px;\"><\/div>\n<p>A R\u00fana\u00ed a chara,<\/p>\n<p>The GAA\u2019s Management Committee has today endorsed a decision to suspend all GAA Club games \u200bat all levels with immediate effect \u200band until further notice.<\/p>\n<p>The decision has been taken in the interest of public safety following a number of incidents that have been brought to our attention in recent days. \u200bIn particular, post-match celebrations and a lack of social distancing at certain events have proved disappointing and problematic.<\/p>\n<p>This directive applies to all ages and all grades across the island.<\/p>\n<p>Club Social Centres \/bars are also to close.<\/p>\n<p>\u200bTraining will continue to be permitted as per the guidelines outlined for the relevant levels in the Government&#8217;s National Framework for Living with Covid 19 and relevant guidelines in the Six Counties.<\/p>\n<p>The GAA will continue to monitor the situation in the \u200bcoming days and weeks, regarding changes in government guidelines, before liaising with our units accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>The Association would also like to acknowledge all of those units who have worked diligently in complying with the public health advice around the staging of our games and training sessions since activity resumed.<\/p>\n<p>More than ever, we ask that you continue with this approach where training sessions for your players is continuing.<\/p>\n<p>Se\u00e1n \u00d3 h\u00d3r\u00e1in Tom\u00e1s \u00d3 Riain<\/p>\n<p>Uachtar\u00e1n Ard Sti\u00farth\u00f3ir<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;
