In what was a highly entertaining game, both sides worked extremely hard with Nenagh just having enough to pull away from their opponents in the end. Of course, our own side were not without talented hurlers as Mick Gilmartin and Mick Burns more than made their own impact on the game.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p>In 1957 Paudie, along with clubmates Devere Reynolds and Paddy Kearns, won Munster and All-Ireland titles with the Blue &amp; Gold having beaten Limerick 3-8 to 1-4 in the Munster decider before accounting for Kilkenny 4-7 to 3-7 in Croke Park.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p>One of Paudie\u2019s biggest regrets on the field of play was losing the North minor final in 1957 after a replay, a medal he\u2019d gladly swap his All-Ireland minor for. Training for the under eight group returns to the usual times this week, hurling training will continue each Tuesday evening from six to seven and Saturday mornings from ten o&#8217;clock to eleven unless we have a game. This was an all-round great team performance. Nenagh had an electric start to the second half of this semi-final with a few really well-taken goals early on that swung the scoreboard in Nenagh&#8217;s favor after which the boys kept the scoreboard ticking over with some very accurate shooting to finish the match eventual winners and qualify for the North final on a scoreline of 1-11 to 4-13.
