Our senior hurlers and management stand for a respectful minutes silence in memory of Mrs. Cissie Russell, mother of club secretary Catherine McTiernan<\/p><\/div>\n

Our senior hurlers were beaten by an excellent Clonoulty Rossmore side in round two of the FBD Insurance Tipperary hurling championship, 1-22 to 1-16, in Semple Stadium on Sunday evening last. The lads must now beat \u00c9ire \u00d3g Annacarty in the final game of the round robin series on Saturday next, in The Ragg at 6:30pm if they are to advance to the knock out stages of the championship. <\/p>\n

Our junior-A hurlers had a comfortable 3-18 to 0-11 win over Knockshegowna on Saturday evening in Borrisokane with Darragh Walsh (2) and Cian O’Farrell scoring the Nenagh goals. The team was Shane Hennessy, Mark O’Farrell, Mark Carey, Mark Tuite, Alex Jones, Se\u00e1n Geaney, Mark Flannery, Niall McKeogh, Niall Madden, John Cahalan, Bob O’Brien, Killian Malone, Darragh Walsh, Anthony Walsh, Cian O’Farrell. Substitutes Rory O’Donovan for Flannery and Dan O’Donovan for Walsh. <\/p>\n

Our third round match of the junior-A championship, against Borris-Ileigh, has been pushed back to the weekend of the 21\/22 August. <\/p>\n

Seth Shayanewako on the attack in the opening minutes against Toomevara<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/div>\n

Our minor hurlers defeated Toomevara, 7-16 to 0-8, in the quarter-final of the North Tipperary championship on Wednesday evening last in Portroe. The goals were scored by Taurai Shayanewako (2), Aaron McLoughlin, Jamie Cottrell, Cian Galvin and Jack McLoughlin. They have now advanced to play Ballina in the semi-final. This game is on Wednesday evening in  Portroe at 7pm. <\/p>\n

Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the North Tipperary Board has decided to make this an all-ticket affair with only 200 people, including players and officials allowed to attend. We appeal to all of our supporters that if you do not have a ticket, please do not attend. <\/p>\n
