Nenagh Eire Og Juvenile Club had a very successful year in 2007 winning a total of 7 championships.
County Champions: U11 hurling (Community Games)
North Champions : U12 A hurling
North Champions: U16A hurling
North Champions: U14 hurling (Feile na nGael)
North Champions: U12A football
North Champions: U14A football
North Champions: U16A football

In addition to the above our under 12C hurling team got to the County Final but were beaten by Skeheenarinky who were winning their first Juvenile title. We also had teams competing in various tournaments at under 10yrs and under 8yrs during the year. Our Summer Camp was very successful. We had over 150 boys and girls enjoying hurling and football coaching in glorious sunshine. The club was represented on various divisional and county teams over the past year and we look forward to these players wearing the county colours in the years ahead.
At present there are over 80 boys under 10yrs. attending training on a regular basis and this age group is seen as the future of the club with coaching a vital component in this regard. Two of our under 16 players Shane Maher and Billy Heffernan won All Ireland medals with Tipperary in the under 16 tournament. We were also represented on the victorious Tipperary Minor team by Paddy Murphy and Michael Heffernan, two former juveniles.
The players and management of all our juvenile teams deserve our congratulations for their wonderful efforts throughout the year. Likewise, the imput of the Officers of the Juvenile Committee for their work and leadership.
Best of luck to all our teams in 2008
Yours in sport
