During the recent spell of good weather, the work recommenced on the new field.
Great progress was made inserting slit trenches at one metre centres. picture and video below gives an idea of the progress.
Obviously, the weather since has not helped so here’s hoping the dry weather will return to get this work completed.

Great fun and an excellent opportunity to exercise the skills gained throughout the season.
Best of luck to the girls and management.
We failed to continue our scoring momentum in the second half and despite some heroic defending by our backs, Newport tacked on the scores to win by 4 points 2-11 to 4-03. Best of luck to Newport in the final.
The club would like to thank all of the panel for how they have trained and played all year and for how they behave and conduct themselves on and off the field. Coming up a division from C to B was never going to be easy but they worked hard and reached a league final, topped their championship group and sadly lost the semi-final, but not without a great fight.
A big thanks to all the coaches – Michael, James, Ella and the 2 Michelle’s – for all their great work during the year.
Special thanks also to Criona, Breda, Paula and the 2 Caitriona’s for the great care they have shown to the girls during matches and training.
